The YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo is a registered organization with HIGH FIVE Ontario.  HIGH FIVE is Canada's only quality assurance standard for organizations providing recreational programs.

Our Goal

YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo is committed to assisting children along the path of Healthy Child Development through;

•    HIGH FIVE Principles: A Caring Adult, Friends, Play, Mastery and Participation
•    Providing the supports necessary to ensure that children feel safe, welcome, empowered and unique
•    Ensure ongoing communication with parents and families
•    Supporting and encouraging the ongoing development of leaders with regard to their knowledge and understanding of healthy child development
•    Daily physical activities  promoting fun, creativity, cooperation and team building
