Financial Support

Thank you! Every year, hundreds of individuals, businesses, faith groups, and community groups help us to improve the lives of women and children in our community with their gifts to YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo.

You can make a gift to YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo or designate it to any of our programs or services.

Gifts in Honour / Gifts in Memory

What better way to honour or remember someone than by supporting others in the community? Cards will be sent to those you have honoured and to the families of those you have remembered to let them know that gifts have been made in their names.

Consider creating a CanadaHelps GivingPage – your own personalized online gift registry. Invite your friends to make gifts to YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo in memory or in honour of someone in your life or in celebration of an occasion (birthday, graduation, wedding, anniversary, new baby etc.). A GivingPage is a way for you to raise funds online in support of a charity you believe in - YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo

Club 84 Memberships

Club 84, established in 1980, is a giving circle of about 300 women and men who give at one of four giving levels every year in support of Mary's Place, the YWCA's 60-bed emergency shelter for women and families who are homeless, and other YWCA programs.

The club took its name from the shelter's 84 Fredrick St. address.

Between 1980 and 2010, 750 members raised $1.5 million in endowed and operating funds. In the past decade, endowed funsd have generated an average of $45,000 in interest income annually.
