With over a century of dedication to women and their families, the YW Kitchener-Waterloo serves the community as one of our region’s largest non-profit organizations.

YW Kitchener-Waterloo is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls by providing services and programs that support physical and mental wellbeing and economic choice and independence.
We envision an inclusive and equitable world where women are empowered to choose change.

Leadership Team
Our executive team works together to oversee the YW’s strategic plan, organizational administration, and direct program areas in housing and homelessness, youth programs, employment and entrepreneurship training, childcare and early learning.
Board of Directors
The YW is led by an all-women Board of Directors. These strong leaders ensure that women’s voices are heard in the community and that our services reflect the needs of women today. Board members are annually-elected, assuming responsibility for organizational governance, providing strategic and operational oversight of the organization.
