When you give a gift to the YW, you’ll help to improve the lives of thousands of women and families in our community.

• You’ll help a woman and her family find temporary shelter, warm food, and crisis support at our emergency shelter.
• You’ll help women find supportive housing and leave a life of homelessness.
• You’ll help low-income women and their families access affordable housing.
• You’ll help improve the life of local girls and youth, gain self-confidence and a sense of belonging in our community.
• You’ll help build entrepreneurial skills in women who’ve faced barriers to employment to gain economic security.
• You’ll help parents access quality licensed childcare, giving them the peace of mind.

We work with you to find an option that’s best suited to your situation – monthly giving, tribute gifts, gifts in your will and gifts of securities.

• Monthly Giving – Once a month, we will withdraw an amount you specify from your VISA or MasterCard.
• Tribute Gifts – When you make a gift to the YW in someone’s name, we will send cards to those you have honoured or the families of those you have remembered.
• Gifts in Your Will – A gift in your will is a way for a person of even modest means to make a substantial gift to the YW. For more information about making a gift in your will, please see your financial advisor.
• Gifts of Securities – Donating publicly traded securities or mutual funds allows you to amplify the impact of your gift.

To make a gift of securities, please complete our securities donation form and send a copy to your broker.
